The minds behind the project

Renate de La Paix, Leslie Dollet, and Dorothée Lepoutre have worked tirelessly to give enthusiastic international students the opportunity to discover the city that is home to the world’s most prestigious web companies.


Renate De La Paix

CAWEB Director

Renate de la Paix created the Master Caweb in 2002. Passionate about educating students to create multilingual websites, she teaches project management and localization, and through the years has made of Caweb a program of creativity and excellence. With the trip to the Silicon Valley she offers her students the opportunity to understand the Californian key to success in the localization and IT fields.


Leslie Dollet

Intern Abroad founder

After graduating with a Business Degree in Lille, France, Leslie opened Intern Abroad in 2002 to capitalize on the growing market of linking young professionals seeking jobs in the United States.
For 10 years, Leslie has been placing hundreds of candidates in America, and continues to contribute to the internship market. She has now developed Silicon Valley tours and is welcoming groups of students in this area around Entrepreneurship.


Dorothée Lepoutre

Intern Abroad Miami

Dorothee graduated with a degree in Marketing in 2000. She began her career in Mexico, marketing for Edenred, promoting employees benefits to local companies. She then discovered the Dutch spirit in Rotterdam, working for a Taiwanese IT company. She finally settled in the US and started to work with Leslie at Intern Abroad USA to manage the Miami office. Dorothee’s focus is to match young talents with companies, and to allow them to start an international career in the US.
