On Wednesday October 7th, we headed to Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
We were warmly welcomed on the campus by Max Troyer, program coordinator of the Translation and Localization Management program (TLM). The TLM program provides a full education to the students willing to work in the localization field.
With several second-year students, we attended a class on the evolution of the translation industry which requires more and more technical skills to fit with clients’ expectations.
The encounter nicely ended with a friendly lunch on campus with the TLM students – first step towards a sustainable overseas collaboration !
