Inovia

Inovia

Around some glasses of Californian wine and culinary specialties, the company Inovia welcomed the students on Monday 17th. The members of the San Francisco’s office were present and happy to introduce the purpose of their company: softwares and applications creation.

Baptiste Manson, the founder of Inovia, and his team presented its company to our students during an aperitif meeting. It was a great opportunity for them to discuss with a French man who created his own company and succeeded to export it to the United-States. The CAWEB students were pleased to catch some invaluable advice for their future. As Inovia deals with the new technology of virtual reality, they have the opportunity to try it! Equipped with a helmet and two joysticks, we discovered new universes and ways to play.

Master Caweb meets Inovia in San Francisco

In San Francisco, the team is composed of 8 members but 4 other people are expected in the coming months. The job of the Inovia team is to “conduct studies and manage projects, help [its] partners find efficient solutions to their technological concerns”. The daily routine is to answer clients issues with softwares or applications development.  One of them is the application mylittleparis, an application that provides good addresses, great id eas for going out and some tips in Paris.

Inovia was created 10 years ago in Paris and it has been just one year since an office was settled in San Francisco. First, they were in the SOMA, the neighborhood in which all start-ups begin but they quickly moved in the city center to get more space. It is one of the most innovative company and the 4th in which the employees are the happiest at work. With a success rate close to 85%, Inovia plans to ride the wave and may develop in Berlin and Tokyo.
