Wingz

After visiting UpWork, next step was an hour meeting at Wingz‘s San Francisco headquarters.

From the beginning, Christof and Jeremie, the co-founders, and their communication manager Melvin made us feel very comfortable. Sitting on the floor of their meeting room, around candies and chocolate bars, we caught a glimpse of the daily life in a growing start-up as they introduced their baby.

The Uber of Airports

Wingz was created in 2011. Originally named Tickengo, the company was a carpooling platform, innovative thanks to its booking system. Today, Wingz is an airport-specialized ridesharing platform. Available in 19 airports in the US, Wingz enables passengers to “schedule their private, fixed-price, and door-to-door airport rides”.

“Wingz will double by the end of 2016”

Based SoMA, in the company counts less than 50 employees but is expanding fast and currently recruiting, shared Melvin, the very first employee of the start-up.

Maybe they could save us a spot ?
